Word of Mouth magazine is the official publication of the Oral Health Foundation. April 2016’s publication is full of information about National Smile Month. This year, it runs between May 16th and June 16th. 2016 sees the 40th anniversary of this oral healthcare initiative. As a Trustee of the Oral Health Foundation, I’m delighted to be doing my bit.
You can get involved too, at www.smilemonth.org/register or on Twitter @smilemonth and using the #mysmileyselfie
Also in this month’s edition, is a feature on new research which concludes that NHS Dentistry is failing the patients most at need. We know that we just can’t let it continue.
Furthermore, there are features about calls for a new approach to dentistry. An update on NHS Dental charges. Also, I’m delighted to have had the chance to share my views about Dentistry as a Trustee of the Charity.
