The 2016 / 2017 Oral Health Foundation Impact Report is now available. As a Trustee of the Charity, it is great to see our year’s work reflected in this document.
It highlights the record participation in National Smile Month. The statistics for the annual Mouth Cancer Action Month are equally impressive.
Over 1000 schools and nurseries used our programmes this year to improve oral health. We also reported over 160 illegal teeth whitening practitioners to Trading Standards and the General Dentistry Council.
Our dental helpline on 01788 539780 gave advice to over 10000 people in the UK. Furthermore, to help consumers, we accredited over 150 products worldwide.
